How to print from MFC-490CW?

I have the MFC-490CW wireless fax and print. I set it up on my macbook and its listed as a fax machine and now i don't know how to print from it as a wireless printer. Or can it even print like a normal wireless printer? I need some help cause my original printer ran out of ink and i have no time to go out and buy ink a this time.
