How do you edit pictures on a Android Mesmerize?

I have a mesmerize, but I want to edit my photos like other phones. Like change the color.... All I know how to do is crop.. If I need to download an app for it, what FREE application would you recommend? Thanks, I really appreciate the answers! :)
